Marceau is a down-on-his-luck Shakespearean actor whose ego is only matched by his frustration at not being recognized as the next Laurence Olivier. He wants nothing to do with the on-going SAG strike that is paralyzing Hollywood and casting a cloud on his career forecast. After failing his latest audition, the arrogant thespian comes to realize he may have a special gift that could propel him into the limelight.
