More of a character study than a traditional narrative film, Sybarite employs a non-linear structure filled with symbols, flashbacks and abstract imagery to place the audience in the lead character’s frame of mind. Richard Lester’s Petulia, Alain Resnais’ Last Year at Marienbad and the cinema of Michelangelo Antonioni are the main sources of inspiration for this project.
