Paris-born American writer/director/photographer Serge Rocco is also the Founder of Minos Pictures, a production company based in Los Angeles. The San Diego State University graduate, an expert in cinema history and cinematic trends, is also the author of a coffee table book featuring hundreds of his photographs of Hollywood greats whom he talks about with profound admiration and respect, ‘Shooting Stars – The Film Lover’s Guide To Los Angeles.’ It offers at the same time an informative account of Hollywood history.
Serge used to write articles in the Classic Films section of ‘The Los Angeles Examiner.' His writings about the Hollywood studio system have been quoted in the book ‘Death of the Moguls: The End of Classical Hollywood’ (Rutgers Univ Pr, 2012) by renown author, film historian, university professor and filmmaker Wheeler Winston Dixon.
